I've owned boots as far back as i can remember, I sold boots, western wear, CWR stores back in the 80's 90's in Casper, Evanston, Cheyenne Wyoming, Kalispell Montana, and Carson City/Reno Nevada. I managed The Wrangler in downtown Cheyenne, which boasted having over 50,000 pair of western boots on the sales floor 1989-1993 (more in backstock). I've been in most of the boot factories, seen what each companies boots look like when cut in half. I share this only to write that I am confident in my ability to observe, feel, know what Quality in a handmade boot is. When I opened the box and held these boots for the first time I was smiling from ear to ear. Beautifully made, excellent leathers, excellent attention to detail, hung linings. The room immediately smelled like saddle leather. Fit was true to size for me, solidly built yet broke in quickly. Even the details in the box, the packaging is impressive. I'm on the Ride Hyer bandwagon boys.

These are my first Hyer boots and I am very impressed with them. The day 1 comfort is excellent. Usually I have had sore feet after the first full day wearing new boots but not in these. The craftsmanship and material quality are excellent. I recommend to anyone wanting a great pair of boots.

This is a well constructed, solid boot. Great chore boots, but clean up well. High quality, durable materials at the right price. The only negative for me is that they're made in Mexico. A proud American company, based in the nation's heartland, should only offer boots 100% Made in Kansas.

Left boot fit great but the right one is still pretty tight around my pinky toe. Hard breaking it in, but love the boots orherwise
