HYER Boots is proud to announce that for the second year in a row, our sponsored athletes are heading to the National Finals Rodeo (NFR)! In just two short years since relaunching, HYER has once again made its mark in the rodeo world, supporting top-tier talent as they compete on the biggest stage. We couldn’t be more excited to see them showcase their skills at the NFR.
From the PRCA to the WPRA, our HYER athletes have put in countless hours of hard work and determination to secure their spots at this year’s finals. HYER is honored to be part of their journey, outfitting them in boots that stand up to the toughest challenges, just like the champions who wear them.

Emily Miller Beisel
"Partnering with Hyer boots was definitely a step in the right direction, pun intended! But truly, I took a chance with them because I believed in their team and what they were going to build. They have delivered in every category, these boots are all they were promised to be!"
The National Finals Rodeo (NFR), often referred to as the “Super Bowl of Rodeo,” is the pinnacle event in the world of professional rodeo. Established in 1959, the NFR has become the premier championship for PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) and WPRA (Women's Professional Rodeo Association) athletes, drawing in the top 15 competitors from each discipline. Held annually in December, this 10-day spectacle brings together the best of the best to compete in events like bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, and barrel racing, all with hopes of claiming the coveted world championship title.
Originally held in Dallas, Texas, the NFR quickly grew in prestige and popularity, eventually finding its long-term home in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1985. With massive crowds, dazzling performances, and high-stakes competition, the NFR has become a celebration of western heritage and rodeo excellence. The event showcases not only the incredible athleticism and skill of the participants but also the deep cultural roots of rodeo in American history.
Over the years, the NFR has solidified its status as the ultimate proving ground for cowboys and cowgirls, where legends are made and lifelong dreams are realized. For many rodeo athletes, competing at the NFR is the culmination of a year’s worth of hard work and sacrifice, making it the most prestigious event on the rodeo calendar.

Richmond "Richie" Champion
"A full season of riding bucking horses tests the mind, body and equipment. I’m proud to say my Hyer boots were up to the challenge! Ride HYER!"
Emily Beisel had a remarkable year, entering the NFR ranked 5th in the barrel racing standings. Her consistency and talent carried her through the season, and she remains one of the fiercest competitors on the circuit. Emily’s go-to boots? The Spring Hill and Cherryvale styles, which combine classic western charm with the durability needed to match her relentless pursuit of excellence.
Ty Harris, known for his lightning-quick calf roping skills, had a stellar season as well, finishing 3rd overall. He dominated at several key rodeos, solidifying his reputation as one of the top ropers in the PRCA. Ty swears by HYER’s Codell and Jetmore boots, two styles that perfectly complement his all-out, performance-driven approach.
Richmond "Richie" Champion's path to the NFR was nothing short of thrilling, as he squeaked into the bareback riding finals by a razor-thin $200 margin. Known for his tenacity and fearless riding, Richie’s favorite HYER boots are the Green Culver and Hudson, blending rugged durability with the comfort needed to power through those edge-of-your-seat moments.
These athletes have not only put in an impressive season but have once again demonstrated that HYER boots are the perfect partner for rodeo success.
