You’ll find HYER products outside of this website exclusively through our approved and authorized retail partners. Please note that purchases made through unauthorized sellers may not be covered by our warranties or guarantees.

If a style is out of stock, it cannot be purchased — but you can sign up for restock notifications on the product page.

Shipping

Yes! We offer free standard shipping on orders over $125 within the contiguous United States.

Orders typically ship within 2–3 business days. Once they’re on the move, orders should arrive within a few business days, depending on location and carrier conditions.

We currently ship within the contiguous United States (the Lower 48).

While we don’t yet ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or internationally, we’re actively exploring those options for the future. Sign up for our email list to be the first to know when shipping expands.

All orders ship with Fedex.

Returns & Exchanges

We’re happy to accept returns and exchanges in new or tried-on condition within 30 days of delivery. To keep things simple, boots should be unworn, unscuffed, clean, and returned in their original packaging.

At HYER Boots, your satisfaction matters to us. We know sometimes a return or exchange is part of the journey, and we’re here to make it as easy as possible.

Returns and exchanges are free, and you can get started on our Returns & Exchanges page.

Gift returns can be started through our returns portal by selecting “Return a Gift” and following the prompts. Once submitted, you’ll receive a shipping label with instructions for sending the item back.

Gift returns must be unworn and in original condition and are eligible only for exchange or store credit within 30 days of delivery.

"LAST CALL" items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

Boots must be returned in new or tried-on condition with all original tags and materials included.

Pack the original boot box inside a separate shipping box or polymailer—please don’t put shipping labels directly on the boot box.

Following these steps ensures your return is processed quickly. Returns that don’t meet these packaging guidelines may be delayed, incur additional fees, or be deemed ineligible.

We stand behind every pair of Hyer boots we make. That’s why we offer a 90-day limited warranty on boots deemed defective by our warranty team. If you notice an issue beyond normal wear and tear, we encourage you to submit a Warranty Claim by contacting us at ch@hyerboots.com. Yes. HYER Boots are built using Goodyear Welt construction, a traditional and durable method that stitches a leather welt to both the upper and insole. This technique,used by HYER since 1875, allows your boots to be resoled and ensures long-lasting quality and fit.

We’re bringing back the family business after 50 years, focused on perfecting high-quality, comfortable boots and expanding our lineup. While custom work isn’t part of the offering today, it’s something we may explore in the future!

HYER boots fit true to US sizing, so start with your normal shoe size.

A few tips to dial in the perfect fit:

  • Sizing: HYER boots fit true to US sizing. Start with your normal shoe size and adjust based on foot width if needed (narrow or wide).
  • Between sizes? Go ½ size up for comfort.
  • Narrow feet: Consider sizing down, or stick with your true size in regular width (B for women, D for men).
  • Wide feet: Size up, or choose our wide widths (C for women, EE for men).
  • Consistency: Your size will generally fit the same across all HYER silhouettes.

HYER boots are designed for a traditional, comfortable fit straight out of the box.

To make sure they fit right:

  • Heel lift: Your heel should move slightly but stay secure. Leather will shape and hold your heel over time.
  • Ball of foot: Should hit the widest part of the boot for support and comfort.
  • Arch fit: Should feel snug — the leather will stretch to match your foot.
  • Toe profile: Our toe shapes are stylish, authentic, and comfortable for everyday use.
  • Walk around: Confirm that the boots feel right — slight heel slippage is normal, and the instep should conform comfortably.
  • Sock thickness matters: Thin or thick socks can change how your boots feel.
  • Try them on indoors (carpet is best) so the soles stay scuff-free if you need to return them.
