We recommend ordering your regular size in U.S. shoe sizes. If you're unsure, you can measure your foot to find a more accurate starting point. Remember, that boot fit is preferential and not always an exact science.

Be conscious of your socks – thin or thick. This can make a difference when determining size. If you are in between sizes, we recommend the ½ size larger.

How to measure length

1. Wear the socks you plan to use with your boots while measuring. (TIP: Measure your feet at the end of the day when they are at their largest)
2. Use a hard, flat surface where you can comfortably stand while taking measurements. This will ensure accuracy in your foot length measurement.
3. Measure the distance from the longest toe to the back of your heel. This is your foot length.
4. Use the measurements you've taken and our size chart to find your ideal size.

Finding the perfect fit goes beyond just length. The width of your boots is crucial for comfort and support.

Fit Tips & Guide

If you have a wider foot, we recommend to either size up or choose the wide width.If you have a narrow foot, we recommend to either half size down or choose your true size in regular width.

If you have both a high arch and high instep, choose a half size up.

Fit Guide for Toes / Heels

Tip 1: Toe Room

Make sure there is enough room for your toes to move comfortably. Your toes should not feel cramped or squeezed. If they feel cramped, it's best to order a half-size up.

Tip 2: Snug but Not Tight

Your boots should feel snug around the widest part of your foot, but not tight. There should be no pinching or pressure points.

Tip 3: Heel Movement

A slight heel lift (about 1/4 to 1/2 inch) is normal. Excessive heel movement means the boots are too wide. If your heel lifts excessively, consider ordering a half-size down to achieve a snug fit.

Note that new boots may feel snug initially but will stretch to fit your foot with regular wear.

Consistent wear helps the boots adapt to your foot's contours, ensuring a snug and personalized fit that only improves with time.

Break-in Period

When breaking in your Hyer boots, we recommend wearing them for 2-3 hours during your first 6-8 outings.

This initial wear period allows your body heat and moisture to naturally soften the leather.

Over time, the high-quality leather heel, insole, and outsole of Hyer boots will mold to the unique shape of your foot, enhancing flexibility and comfort.
