So far this will be I believe my 5th pair of Hyers. Can't never have too many boots. These haven't been subject to any roping or ranching yet as they kinda got stuck in a vehicle in another state. That's a different uneventful story. I've been wearing them as much as possible breaking them in and all that. I will say that these boots are initially at first glance plain or not as fancy as others, the more you look at them and pay attention to the little things they become very interesting and eye catching. Whoever designed these boots had an eye for detail and was designing a boot for the person that appreciates the hidden features. For example the lavender colored stitches on the vamp, the multiple rows of close stitching on the beautiful eggplant goat leather upper and a deep chocolate suede, that one's not so subtle. I will be putting these boots to work as soon as I'm home and really testing them. That said I'm sure they will perform as well as all Hyer Boots do. I've said it before, these boots were made for work, the quality and craftsmanship is second to none. It also helps that they are an attractive boot that looks good getting dirty in all environments and elements. I am excited for future releases as well as continuing to wear in and re sole the current selection I have.

On a final note, a couple of things that make Hyers stand out from the crowd.

    1. Canvas boots straps that are easy to you and no stretching or break in required

    2. Leather piping, if you have had…

    Mucho Freak’n Bueno!!

Arguably the most comfortable pair of boots I own.

I’m a bit of a boot guy and have many, many boots from all kinds of boot makers. A great fit for my foot and super comfortable. Nice work Amigos!

    Pros:

    sturdy construction

    Good leather

    Leather insole

    Cons:

    Long break period

    Heel is not as stable.

Thickness of the insole is different from other brand insoles. It does change the way the boot fits.

    Would recommend

Alright this will be a long review and HYER wont like it much but its honest.

    Sizing:

Hyer says is true size. My size is 10.5 sneakers

In ariats im a 9D or a 8.5E, military boots im a 10 and 10 in hiking boots

The problem with sizing is that hyer takes way too long to switch sizes unlike other brands like Thrusday boots. Which can make you really think twice before missing the mark with your size. An ariat with the same style as a 9D fits highly secure and solid on my ankle. AB boots also fit way different and secure on a 9D, 9.5 on my thursday boots, My Culvers 9D however felt at first like my toes were being crunched and then like it was too tight on the vamp. It took me almost 2 days of struggling to break the vamp down. Which is good because is good quality leather. Also the insole makes your foot feel like you have your heel raised a tad too much and you might be missing the heel counter, however if you remove the insert or replace it with another you might find out that your feet does sink like a regular shoe roper boot but now the sizing is all jacked. So be extremely patient when sizing this boot if you cant do it in store. Right now it feels fine on the toes and the vamp and in the ball of the toes but the heel slip still remains. My heel still…
